As Owner of TAB Northeast NJ, Dan brings a broad wealth of knowledge and global experience working across multiple industries. While working in Corporate America for 30-years, Dan has focused on Organizational Development, Change Management and Operational Excellence. Most of his experience has been in the highly regulated Medical Device Industry but he has also worked in Automotive, Printing, Pharmaceutical, Consumer Electronics and Consumer Products. Throughout his career, Dan has contributed to the growth of people and significantly improved business performance; examples include growing a private-equity owned medical device company 3x its size in three years, a private-equity owned digital printing division 14x its size in four years, and doubled a publicly-traded medical device division in five years. He has also been a small business President and co-owner (with a PE firm) and grew revenue almost 10x from $1.2MM to over $11MM. The one thing that remained steady throughout Dan’s career has been his passion to develop people by mentoring, coaching and challenging them and the business to grow profitably.
Joining The Alternative Board (TAB) was a natural fit for Dan. The highly effective peer advisory board strategy, along with the proven analytical and strategic planning tools available through TAB provide the perfect vehicle to bring Dan’s experience in business and coaching together to help business owners connect their personal vision with their business vision, and keep them aligned in order to maximize both satisfaction and success.
In parallel with his professional contributions, Dan has been passionately involved with his family and contributing to community. With his wife and best friend, Jessica, they have raised 5 children of which 3 are living independent, successful lives and 2 on their way to success by finishing their education. They have been leaders in the community, volunteering at their affiliated religious organization and community events. Most recently, Dan and Jess have been delivering food with Meals on Wheels and food shopping for the elderly in the hard hit COVID-19 area of Northeast NJ.
A lifelong NJ resident, Dan was raised in Union County but departed NJ to obtain his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He worked a few years outside of NJ but returned and has been a resident of the state for the past 30 years.
