Harry launched his first business while earning his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, providing IT support to local companies. Over time, he transformed that venture into Relevant CRM, a Microsoft Gold Partner specializing in Dynamics CRM and Power Platform for equipment dealers. Under his leadership, Relevant CRM evolved from a project-based business to one with over 90% recurring revenue. In 2023, Harry successfully navigated the company’s acquisition by Vertilocity, gaining firsthand insight into growth, scaling, and exit strategies that now inform his work with TAB members.
Harry Shaughnessy is a contract facilitator with The Alternative Board, partnering with Keith Weaver to help business owners and executives think more strategically, solve complex challenges, and align their companies with their personal vision for success. Drawing on more than 30 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience, Harry guides TAB members through peer advisory boards and one-on-one coaching that turn big goals into actionable, measurable results.
In addition to his business achievements, Harry has served on the board of a national nonprofit dedicated to helping students find supportive communities on campus, further reflecting his commitment to helping people succeed in both business and life.
Married for more than 30 years and a proud father of three, Harry enjoys cycling, experimenting with home automation, and spending time with his dog, Rooney—who knows more than 40 words but selectively chooses when to listen.
