I believe owners of privately held businesses need a fresh perspective and additional areas of expertise from time to time. I became involved with The Alternative Board (TAB) because of my passion for helping business owners achieve their own vision of success, with the help of their peers.
I have led teams in every phase of the advertising media process from initial idea to strategic implementation of a multi-media campaign. Asking tough questions to get to the heart of the matter and identifying real opportunities are keys to success. We used a process, but sometimes broke the mold to come up with a better solution - not always the easy solution. Through it all, my teams met or substantially beat industry standards including keeping costs below market average and negotiating value added at no cost to our clients. We identified key performance indicators (KPIs) meaningful to our company, but more importantly, meaningful to our clients, and then delivered on those KPIs.
I am a University of Minnesota graduate of the Carlson School of Management with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Political Science. Some of the companies I’ve had the privilege to work on include: Bass Pro Shops, Frattallone’s Ace Hardware, Harley Davidson, Harrah’s Casinos, McDonald's, Ordway, Outdoor Marine Corporation, Snap Fitness, Starbuck's, Subway and Trex Decking. For every client, I’ve been able to add value via increased sales and/or attendance at brick and mortar locations as well as online. I have had an inside look into dozens of companies based on mutual trust and shared goals.
