Tyler is dedicated to helping business owners in Greenville/Spartanburg build better businesses and create better lives. Entrepreneurship runs on both sides of Tyler’s family and he is actively involved in family businesses. He has served in a variety of government and corporate positions, including leadership positions in the US Navy nuclear program and at Optum Rx. Through this blend of corporate, government, and small business experience, Tyler has a unique background to help business leaders think differently and improve their leadership and decision-making processes.

Business owners are the lifeblood of our community, and their success lays the groundwork for our vibrant economy. Through one-on-one coaching, business education, and facilitating advisory boards of local business leaders, Tyler helps business owners find the balance between personal and professional goals to improve their personal lives and financial bottom lines.

Tyler graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s in Anthropology, is a submarine veteran, and earned an MBA in Healthcare. He has over 20 years experience in Outdoor Recreation, Athletic Ticketing, Nuclear operations, project management, and Healthcare.

As a TAB member, through the regular coaching sessions and monthly Board meetings, I gain invaluable mentor and peer support. The TAB ethos and coaching approach has helped me to plan personal and business goals and set direction. This is supported by the wealth of knowledge, skills, experience and support that is shared by the board who provide Impartial, informed and considered guidance and advice on all types of business issues, that enable me to gain fresh perspectives, identify blind spots and fill my skill gaps. Over the last twelve months TAB has effectively become my company’s non-executive board and its members my trusted colleagues.
