Why TAB New Orleans?
An important question for a CEO or business owner is whether they are working “in” or “on” their business. Too often you find your time is consumed with firefighting, problem solving, being the person on call, having to make every decision. At the end of the day, you wonder where the time went and why the business is stuck. You have fallen into the trap of working “in” the business.
This is where The Alternative Board (TAB) New Orleans can help. We work with business leaders managing companies with revenues between $0.5 million and $25 million, helping them make the transition to working “on” your business. Working with TAB, you will create a game plan unique to your business to unlock value and create success.
TAB’s Process: Turning your Vision into Actions and Sustained Performance
The TAB Process is successful because it is grounded in a steady, consistent engagement that focuses leaders’ vision, energy, and hard work into the critical areas to drive growth and sustain performance.
1. Collaborative Peer Advisory Boards
With a make up of experienced business leaders from diverse, non-competing industries, the peer advisory board meetings bring unique perspectives, challenging inquiry, strategic concepts, and monthly accountability. Members gain insights to help solve problems, leverage opportunities, and drive results.
2. Focused Executive Coaching
Seasoned business coaches help leaders maneuver through the challenges and opportunities discovered in the peer advisory board meetings. These monthly coaching sessions are designed to help the leader build the roadmap for the future.
3. Strategic Plan Tools
A straightforward set of tools helps the leader and coach address the key questions for growing and sustaining business performance. The tools will help:
• Define company vision/value – where are we going
• Identify your Strategic Advantage – why do business with you
• Build your Strategic Plan – how do you get there
• Review Key Performance Indicators – how are we progressing
4. Leadership Team Alignment and Transformation
Using the StratPro workshops, TAB’s proprietary solution for leaders and their teams, the full leadership team gains greater alignment and creates a vision connected to practical strategies and actions to define a clear and aligned path forward. With StratPro, you turn plans into actions. The facilitated workshops will allow you to build alignment, create a common and shared vision, identify gaps and opportunities, map strategies, and take action to drive results. Follow-up sessions focus on optimizing performance and ensuring accountability for assigned actions.
5. Developing Emerging Talent
Build and enhance your next generation of leaders with a training system designed to transform today’s technically skilled employees into the confident, high-impact managers you need for tomorrow.
