Allan has had the fortune of working in and leading nearly every function of a business. Through these experiences and his constant learning and development, he has created a proven philosophy and strategy that builds strong and profitable organizations. Having paid his way through college as a journeyman electrician and serving in the Army National Guard, Allan laid the foundation of hard work, efficiency, and productivity needed to achieve big things.

Allan entered the software industry, joining the startup EWS as the director of professional services and worked his way up to head the entire organization. EWS’ dominance in the transportation industry led to selling the company to Constellation Software at a premium. On the strength of his performance and record, Allan was asked to lead the turnarounds of two struggling companies also owned by this holding company. In total, he has directly served as the President/CEO of EWS, Compusource, and Constellation Payments. Most recently, he served as Portfolio Manager/CEO of six other Constellation companies.

His particular expertise is in strategic planning and execution, financial management, business process design, and leadership development. Allan has been certified by the Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as a Business Consultant. He is also the founder and owner of Simpro Strategies; a firm focused on helping business owners and leaders to simplify, improve, and grow their organizations.

He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a B. A. in History and subsequently possesses a plethora of useless trivia knowledge. He resides in Colorado Springs, CO, with his wife and family and enjoys road biking and home improvement.
