Paul has been an entrepreneur for over 40 years, known for building community throughout central Indiana in: development, home building, interconnecting technologies, mortgage lending, parimutuel horse racing, and aviation management. As of 2021, Paul’s development and homebuilding companies have developed over 35 neighborhoods and built nearly 9,000 homes in the Indianapolis market. In total Paul’s companies have developed and financially guaranteed over $2.4 billion of real estate to date.
Paul’s most recent business is Monterey Coastal Cuisine, a restaurant in the Arts & Design District in Carmel. Monterey blends classic culinary techniques with the bold and adventurous flavors of the California Coast in a casual fine dining experience.
Paul has been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by INC. Magazine, Builder of the Year by the Builders’ Association of Greater Indianapolis, Citizen of the Year by the City of Westfield, First Team All-Conference by University of Evansville Football and by Carmel High School as a member of their Hall of Fame. Additionally, Paul’s development and homebuilding company was the first Indiana homebuilder ever awarded the National Housing Quality Gold Award from the National Association of Homebuilders and was named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana for three straight years.
Paul founded the Estridge Family Foundation in 2007. Since that time, the foundation has granted over $6 million to charitable organizations in central Indiana focused on building community.
Paul graduated from the University of Evansville with a BS in Real Estate, Planning & Marketing in 1980, and from Carmel High School in 1976. Paul holds a license with the FAA as a private pilot and he is an active member of Northview Christian Church. Paul enjoys reading, flying and mentoring and coaching individuals and organizations. Paul and his wife, Judy, have three children – Mary Ellen McIntyre (Coleman), Elyse Harvey (Scott) and Joshua Estridge. They also have two grandsons, Cashel Timothy McIntyre and Amos Paul McIntyre, and one granddaughter, Ruth Rose Harvey.
