John Christie is the Owner and President of The Alternative Board (TAB) of Eastern Kansas, serving Topeka, Lawrence, Kansas City, KS, and surrounding areas. John works with Owners, CEOs, and Presidents of privately held companies to improve their business operations and regain control over their lives.
Utilizing his more than 30 years of diverse experience across multiple disciplines, John facilitates monthly peer advisory meetings (called boards) comprised of 6-8 non-competing business leaders. By encouraging open dialogue and out-of-the-box thinking, John helps put the power of collective wisdom, accountability, drive, creativity, and clarity of advice in the leaders’ hands to drive business and personal visions. Along with board meetings, John provides business coaching to help keep leaders focused, accountable, and on track to achieve their goals.
John has held top leadership positions in Fortune 500 companies in operations, business development, and marketing. Prior to owning his TAB business, John had operational responsibility for a $600M business unit in the Midwest. He is a proud native of Kansas, where he received his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Kansas and earned an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management. John and TAB Eastern Kansas are well-positioned to help business owners take their business to an entirely new level.
