South African Master Facilitator

David is an unapologetic challenger of the status quo. With more than thirty years’ experience in banking, He has first-hand experience in a number of business fields and is as comfortable in the boardroom as in the canteen. Spending twenty-two years of his career in South Africa and nine years experiencing fourteen countries in Africa, David grew a particular awareness of the impact decision-making has on businesses. Having had seen how volatility in markets, as a result of exchange rates, ignorance of, and/or lack of mindfulness of macroeconomic factors, can seriously damage and even destroy any business, he developed a keen interest in helping people better navigate life’s challenges, both in business and personally.

As both an entrepreneur and intrapreneur, David enjoys asking the unwanted questions, getting to the “real issues”. With the famous quote of Nelson Mandela – “It always seems impossible until it’s done”, he believes that there are no stupid people. Only ignorance. And to get rid of ignorance we need to ask as many questions as possible. Then challenge the answers. Challenge the status quo. Unapologetically.

Daniel Wong
Australia Facilitator

As the owner of The Alternative Board Brisbane Inner North, Daniel helps business owners realise their full potential in their business and personal lives. Daniel found happiness and personal growth when he left a stable job as a skilled automotive diagnostician to work in the advice services industry.

He started a new career as a Financial Planner and Mortgage Broker and became the owner of his own financial services company and initially joined The Alternative Board as a member.

After six years working in finance, he found that most of the challenges people were facing were not financial at all. The financial challenges were merely a symptom of the larger issues of balancing business and personal life.

Daniel then became a TAB coach and advisor, and now encourages business owners to stop being a passenger in their business and become the driver. He works with leaders who are ready to take the wheel with both hands and reach new levels in their business.
