I own The Alternative Board for the Indianapolis North Territory. Along with my partner, Jeff Pruner, I became involved in The Alternative Board because of my passion for small businesses and their monumental role in local communities. Being born and raised in Indianapolis, I have a special affinity for the city, and I have a strong desire to use my small business background and franchise experience to aid other business owners in their endeavors.
When I was seventeen, a few partners and I started a small business that we still maintain today. Through our humble beginnings, I helped in developing propriety products for which we still hold several patents, creating sales and marketing systems, negotiating product sponsorships, building an inventory management system, and increasing sales each year since our inception.
I have also spent close to eight years in a franchise system that culminated in an ownership position. During my time in the franchise community, I hired and built several successful sales and marketing teams along with handling human resource challenges, customer service issues, and maintaining vendor relationships.
In addition, I enjoy taking an active role in my community by contributing my time to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Indianapolis. Through charity and mentorship, I hope to contribute to as many young people’s lives as I can.
I believe that The Alternative Board will allow me to positively impact hundreds of businesses throughout the northern Indianapolis community and help their owners gain the success and work-life balance that so many of our members currently enjoy.
