Vallie Collins was a passenger on US Airways flight 1549 that successfully landed in New York’s Hudson River after having both engines knocked out by a large flock of birds. As Vallie said to herself once the plane was down, “that wasn’t so bad.” No one died and no one was seriously injured. The truth was much more complicated. Although she was able to handle her job and family responsibilities, something wasn’t quite right anymore. She will discuss what she learned from going through this intense, incredibly frightening and unexpected experience.

Sigi is the owner of The Alternative Board in Pittsburgh, PA. TAB helps forward-thinking business owners increase profitability and improve their lives by leveraging local business advisory boards, private business coaching and proprietary strategic services.
Sigi is in the unique position of having served as a TAB Member for four years and as a coach/facilitator for three years before eventually becoming the owner.
